Happy Birthday to The MK Shop

Wow. It’s hard to believe that today is the 2nd birthday of The MK Shop’s birth. It seems like so long ago that I was sitting at my house in Georgia setting up a layout on the original moonfruit.com website template. I really wish that I had some screen shots of the previous version of the site, cause I know it’s come a long way since February 2008. It started with a few study guides and a couple of pictures, but now it’s more study guides and a lot of pictures!

So, has this site been helpful to any of you? What have you enjoyed about it? Does anyone miss the Gears comics? I don’t hear from many of you anymore, so take a second and leave a comment on this page. Let me know what’s good and what sucks….I want to hear it. What do I need to add….stuff like that. It only takes a second to post something. Help me out. Let me know what you think.

Most importantly in all this, a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped get this site going. To everyone who sent in pictures, stories, study guides, job aids…I say thank you. The MK Shop would never had made it without you all. I wish I had kept better track of all your names so I could put them up on the contributors page, but I didn’t realize that maintaining a website would have been so much work. As of my writing this, The MK Shop has been hosted on 3 different sites (moonfruit, blogger, and now Wordpress) and they have all totaled 2,765,321 visits (thank you Google Analytics). With a new year starting, I once again ask you all to send me stuff. Send me some guides, pictures, stories, whatever. Lets keep this site growing. Drop a comment too, let us know what you think……..Now, Liberty!
